Although we're sad to say goodbye, we're also excited to announce what restaurant we'll be eating at in November. Runt's Munchies in Cedar Rapids!

Runt's Munchies is one of our favorite hidden gems in Cedar Rapids. Just a few months ago, they left their original location on 5th Ave SE and moved to a bigger spot at 118 2nd St SE. This will be our first time eating Listener Lunch at the new restaurant, and we could not be more excited!

Some of my personal favorite things to order at Runt's Munchies are the F-Bomb Eggrolls, the Garlic Parm Wings, the Pickle Wrap Dip, and the Loaded Mashed Potato Bombs. Honestly, everything I've ever had there has been good. That includes the homemade jalapeno ranch dressing and ALL the sweets inside the 'Case of Yum!'

As of Monday (October 24th), Runt's Munchies has also started serving breakfast! Options include breakfast eggrolls, sandwiches, wraps, biscuits & gravy, tiny pizzas, and more. The new hours are Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

If you'd like to join us for one of our final Listener Lunches of the year, all you have to do is get signed up HERE. We meet on Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m. and winners are able to bring up to six people with them. We choose our winners on Friday mornings around 9 a.m., so make sure you answer the phone if we call you.
