Everyone is thinking of Nashville today after a tornado blew through the area this morning causing severe damage and fatalities.

According to The Boot, the tornado ripped through East Nashville and Germantown areas of the city just after 1 a.m. Tuesday morning. The Tennessean reports that more than 40 buildings have collapsed with others sustaining damage. The death toll continued to rise throughout the morning as emergency crews surveyed the area. Currently, 22 deaths have been reported as of 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. Brain and Courtlin spoke with Nashville radio host Sam Alex this morning about the devastation.
