A local bowling event is providing more than just fun for Corridor kids.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is an organization that matches youth with caring adults to create 1-to-1 mentoring that makes a big difference for kids and the community. According to their website, the organization helps to "change the lives of children facing adversity between 6 and 18 years of age, and their network of volunteers, donors and supporters comes from all walks of life, all backgrounds, and all experience levels."

The Big Brothers Big Sisters group is gearing up for their important annual fundraising event, 'Bowl For Kids Sake'. KHAK is proud to sponsor this big bowling party where you can bowl, have fun and create life-changing friendships.

Bowling sessions run from February 18 through February 29 in Cedar Rapids and February 22 and 23 in Iowa City. This is a great opportunity to have some fun with friends or do some team building with employees. You can have a team of up to six bowlers and $75 must be raised per bowler.
