Companies in the UK are starting to offer "Hangover Days," giving employees the option to work from home rather than come in if they aren't feeling too good after a night out.

A digital marketing agency director, Claire Crompton, said the policy promotes honesty between employees and managers. Her particular business offers unlimited Hangover Days to help engage better with their employees after work events and client entertainments.

Crompton said they introduced the policy to "Offer something younger millennials who typically go out midweek." They have seen the policy be respected so far, without anyone

CIPD research found that 84% of workplace events involve alcohol. 40% of businesses said this upcoming Christmas season's parties will have free drinks for their employees, because it encourages bonding between the team.

Consider me on board for getting hammered, staying home, and still getting paid.
