It's hard to believe, but the month of November is upon us! Here are some fun events happening this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday:

Everyday Heroes Awards Breakfast
- The Hotel at Kirkwood Center in Cedar Rapids
- November 1st from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
- "You are invited to come to an inaugural event hosted by the Gazette. This community awards celebration recognizes the many individuals that go out of their way to make life better for others. These Heroes who walk among us act as coaches, mentors, project volunteers, show gestures of kindness, and willingly lend a helping hand whenever needed. Come pay tribute to them at this special celebration and hear the many stories of goodness expressed."

Boy Band Review

Holiday Arts & Crafts Show

Daddy Daughter Dance 2019

200-Lap Enduro

- "We have a great line up of crafters and vendors from homemade jewelry, homemade soaps and lotions, nail street, Norwex, pampered chef, thirty one, Posh, homemade crafts, homemade shirts and much much more! Come join the fun, the Bar and Grill are open that day as well."
Annual Steak Supper
- Center Point Volunteer Fire Department
- November 2nd from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- "We will be serving 10oz. ribeyes and boneless-skinless chicken breasts, party potatoes, baked beans, dessert, and a drink. Delivery service will be available for the elderly."
- Cost is $17 for adults, ages 6 to 12 are $10, and 5 & under are free
Chili Supper

- November 2nd from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- "Join the Hiawatha Fire Department for some of their famous firehouse chili! The menu also includes hot dogs, desserts, and drinks."

Straight No Chaser
