Every Saturday at Kinnick and Jack Trice stadiums, the results of a new survey are pretty evident.  Saturday, September 14, it will be even more evident. But it's not all about football.

Two Iowa towns make a new list of Top College Towns in America.

Among the 30 cities on the list from 24-7 Wallstreet, Iowa City is #7 and Ames is #1! In its article, 24-7 says 59.9 percent of Iowa City adults have at least a Bachelor's degree and unemployment is low at 1.9 percent.

Those numbers are even better in Ames, at 62.7 percent and 1.5 percent, respectively. Iowa City's "population enrolled in college" is 25,276. In Ames, it's 29,369.

Iowa City has a bigger reputation as a "party school", but the articles say they have 274 bars per 100,000 people compared to 329 per 100,000 in Ames.

It's based on U.S. Census information, along with graduation rates and education statistics.
