I'm continuing my tour of the most expensive homes for sale in the area with the one in the Cedar Rapids metro with the highest price tag. Just look at that aerial view, above. I mean, are you kidding me?! Wow!

This sprawling Marion property went up for sale just a couple of weeks ago, according to Zillow, and features a 2-story house with almost 8,000 finished square feet, not to mention nearly 27 total acres. The home was built in 1997 and has granite floors and kitchen countertops, cathedral ceilings, and, obviously, so much more. The five-bedroom, five-bath home has its own wing for the master suite that also includes a whirlpool, gas fireplace, and deck.

On the backside of the home, you'll find a massive patio along with a beautiful pool and a pool house that looks bigger than the house I live in. The pool house actually has granite floors and cherry cabinets, both of which my house does not.

The other buildings on the property are perfect for a car collection. There's a pair of 4-car garages that are detached from the home, along with an attached 3-stall. Yes, there's room for eleven vehicles!

Out front is a massive lighted fountain and enough space to hold the area's next big concert.

The home is located at 6201 Lakeside Road in Marion and is listed for $2.8 million. The listing agent is Cathy Hill of Skogman Realty. See photos of the home below.

This home is just the third-most-expensive home currently for sale in the corridor. If you'd like to see the top two, those stories and pictures are below the photographs of the Marion home.
