A Popular 90s Snack is Returning to Shelves This Summer
As a child of the 90s, I can tell you that there are SO many things I miss from my childhood. Polly Pockets, Tamagotchis, inflatable furniture, Beanie Babies, MASH, gel pens, Walkmans, Lisa Frank EVERYTHING... the list goes on and on. Apparently, I'm not the only one who feels a little nostalgic when I think about the 90s! A popular 90s snack is going to be returning to shelves this summer!
According to CNN, General Mills announced yesterday that Dunkaroos will be making a comeback in 2020!
In case you aren't familiar with Dunkaroos, they are a beloved snack that consisted of tiny graham cookies and frosting to dip them in. They first launched in 1990, but were discontinued back in 2012. The articles states that General Mills is "bringing back the most requested flavor: Vanilla Cookies and Vanilla Frosting with Rainbow Sprinkles."
There is no official release date for Dunkaroos just yet, but we do know that they will be available at 7-Eleven stores first, and then arrive at other convenience and grocery stores later. Not good for us here in Iowa, but I'm sure the wait will be worth it! In the meantime, you can follow Dunkaroos on Twitter and Instagram for updates.
