A New Restaurant Has Opened Up in Cedar Rapids

If you're a fan of loose meat sandwiches, there's a new restaurant you may want to try! Loosies opened up last month at 1611 32nd st NE, right across from the Oakland Road Hy-Vee in Cedar Rapids. It's a teeny tiny place with a teeny tiny menu, but the food looks yummy!

According to The Gazette, Loosies has a very simple menu. For your main course you can choose from a Loosie, a Mega Loosie, a hot dog, or an egg and cheese sandwich. For dessert you can order a slice of pie from Kathy's pies, a malt/shake, or a root beer float. Here are some of the photos they've posted on their official Facebook within the past few weeks:

29 people have given the new restaurant 5 stars on their Facebook, so it seems to be off to a good start! I might have to stop by after my next trip to the grocery store. They're open from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, so stop in and let us know what you think of the place!
