A couple of days ago, Dash Coffee Roasters revealed on social media that their shop at 630 10th Street in Marion is permanently closing on Christmas Eve 2023. The post reads:

"One year ago we opened the doors to this sweet little coffee home. Today it is with a forlorn heart that I announce that we will be closing the doors to this space soon. There are a million things I want to say, but all that matters are these 2: Thank you to each person who stopped in, drew a picture, enjoyed a coffee, got to know or staff, & worked to support us. I know times are hard right now. If you're going out, please think about where your dollars are going. Keep things local as much as possible. It matters more than you will ever know."

Dash Coffee Roasters expanded into Marion in December of 2022, less than two years after closing their shop at 287 N Linn Street in Iowa City. The good news is that their location at 120 3rd Ave SW in Cedar Rapids will remain open for business as usual! Dash's Cedar Rapids hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

If you want to visit Dash Coffee Roasters in Marion before they close later this month, the hours listed on the site are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The business will certainly be missed by Marionites!
