Happy National Pi Day! Not that kind of pie. It's actually the holiday that celebrates "the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, as Traveliowa.com describes it."....or 3.14 as you know it.
When most people hear Pi Day, they automatically think of the delicious dessert. And what can we say, we love food. So to celebrate this day, we decided to look at some of the tastiest pies in Iowa, according to Travel Iowa.

The number one spot goes to a classic. According to the Travel Iowa, "Indianola's Crouse Café makes a classic fruit pie that diners continue to exclaim has the "best crust in the world." The cherry pie also made the Des Moines Register's list of "100 Things to Eat Before You Die."

You would think these two things would be weird together, but apparently it's pretty darn good! Country Junction in Dyersvile, Iowa are noted as making a mean one.
