A Downtown CR Restaurant Was Named the Best Burger Joint in Iowa

Just last week we told you that Wood Iron Grille in Oskaloosa was named the winner of the 2019 Iowa Best Burger Competition with the Iowa Beef Industry Council, but the winner according to Yelp is actually much closer to us!

Buzzfeed reached out to Yelp to help figure out the most popular burger joint in each state, and the winner for Iowa is The Map Room in Downtown Cedar Rapids! Located at 416 3rd St SE, The Map Room is a local favorite when it comes to unique burger options. Commenters on Yelp mention the Maui Burger, the Marrakesh burger, the Omaha Burger, and the fries! Here are a few more of the burger specials they've served recently:

The Map Room also won the 2nd Annual Cocktail Classic at NewBo City Market last month, so you'll probably want to order a drink while you're there, too!
