A fire at a Marion apartment complex sent two people to the hospital. Firefighters were called to the complex at 121 Southview Drive in Marion just after 6 a.m. Sunday morning. Crews helped one victim on the second floor of the structure. That person was taken to a local hospital. A second victim was rescued from a third story window and taken to another local hospital.

A total of 10 apartments in the complex were evacuated. The Red Cross helped find assistance for all of the displaced residents. The blaze was brought under control in around 30 minutes.

No firefighters were injured and the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
