13-Year-Old Iowa Girl is a Dancing Sensation [VIDEOS]
Maesi Caes is a dancing phenom who happens to hail from here in the Hawkeye State. This girl's good. Really good. Good enough that she's already appeared on four national television shows, including two in the last two months.
Before she came to the small screen, though, Maesi had already done some very impressive things. She became a Hall of Fame inductee and won her first Grand National Championship at age nine. Nine! Two years ago, she appeared on stage with Justin Bieber during his 'Purpose' tour. Then, it was on to television.
First came 'America's Got Talent.'
Then, 'Dance Moms.'
Last month, came an appearance on 'Little Big Shots.' It all stemmed from video of Maesi dancing to hip hop music on the street in Las Vegas. I-m-p-r-e-s-s-i-v-e.
Here's Maesi chatting with 'Little Big Shots' host Steve Harvey, followed by a short performance video.
Earlier this week, Maesi was part of a group of dancers known as the Iowa Girlz, that advanced on 'World of Dance.' You can follow the group as the season continues next Wednesday at 7 p.m. on NBC.
Maesi told the Des Moines Register last month,
I’m a small town girl with big city dreams.
Something tells me nearly all of those dreams are going to come true.
