[UPDATED] 10-Week-Old Stolen Puppy Back At Corridor Home
[UPDATE 1/23 12 noon] Wonderful news! According to the Iowa City Police Department, Caesar is home! The puppy, stolen late afternoon or early evening Friday (1/19) has been reunited. He was found in Washington, Iowa! Unfortunately, the perpetrators haven't been found.
Anyone with information on what happened to Caesar is asked to call Crimestoppers at 358-TIPS (8477).
[ORIGINAL STORY] This adorable little guy was stolen from an Iowa City home last night. His name is Caesar and he is just 10-weeks-old.
Iowa City Police say the owners of a residence in the 200 block of West Benton St. in Iowa City were gone between 5:30 and 6:30 Friday night. When they returned, the puppy, its food, and training pads were all gone from inside the home.
Caesar is a gray and white pit bull terrier. He was not wearing a collar or any other identification. Dogs and cats can be microchipped at just four weeks old, according to Adoptshop. I had no idea it was that young.
