Words we can’t Spell–Impossible Question

Imagine if adults went back and were allowed to take part in spelling bees. Think about how poorly we would do. In an age where spell check saves us with every sentence we type, there is no doubt we'd get crushed by the kids who compete. A recent survey tested adults on the ability to spell certain words. Not complex words featured in spelling contests, but words we use on a regular basis. As you might expect, we didn't do well. Among the most commonly misspelled words? Phenomenon, unnecessary, disappearance, correspondent and synchronized. I can't believe I typed all of those correctly. Or did I? With spell check, you'll never know.
