New England, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia recorded key wins, while Dallas suffered their second loss in seven days. Here's a recap of all of the Week 9 action:

Ben Roethlisberger threw for 340 yards and six touchdowns, and the Steelers beat the Baltimore Ravens, 43-23, in Pittsburgh on Sunday. The overwhelming victory gave the Steelers (6-3) an edge on Baltimore (5-4) in the hyper-competitive AFC North.

Roethlisberger threw three TDs in both the second and fourth quarters. It was his NFL record-setting second-straight week with a half-dozen scoring passes. Big Ben now has 21 touchdowns and just one interception since Week 2, when the Ravens mauled Pittsburgh at home.

Tom Brady Owns Peyton Manning

The crowd in Foxborough, Mass. was cold AND correct. Hours after a wintry mix covered the playing surface at Gillette Stadium, Tom Brady led his Patriots to a 43-21 rout over Peyton Manning and the Broncos. The shivering home fans chanted "Brady's Better," as New England (7-2) stomped Denver (6-2) into submission in the second half, including an incredible catch by Rob Gronkowski.

Brady threw for 333 yards and four touchdowns while beating Manning in the 16th edition of their rivalry. Touchdown Tom is now 11-5 against Peyton, who threw for 438 yards and two scores. Manning doesn't play defense, but if Denver is to return to the Super Bowl this February, someone on the Broncos' staff must figure out how to limit the success of the opposition's starting quarterbacks.

RG3 Came Back, But So Did The Vikings

Quarterback Robert Griffin III returned to the Redskins' lineup on Sunday…just in time to see the Vikings overcome three deficits and beat his team, 29-26. The loss was the culmination of a difficult day for Washington (3-6), which saw its team buses crash on the way to the game, where thousands protested the team's controversial nickname outside the venue.

After missing seven weeks due to a dislocated ankle, Griffin threw for 251 yards, a score and an interception hours after an ESPN report hinted that the members of the team had greater support for Colt McCoy, who had led them to two straight wins. Minnesota (4-5) got the last laugh behind rookie QB Teddy Bridgewater, who passed for 268 yards for the Vikings

Brandon Weeden Still Sucks

Turns out that Brandon Weeden's productive Monday night wasn't a precursor of good things to come. With Dallas starting quarterback Tony Romo out with two transverse process fractures, Weeden started and threw two interceptions as the Cowboys (6-3) lost their second straight game, 28-17, to the Cardinals.

Carson Palmer threw three touchdown passes for Arizona (7-1), which has the best record in the NFC. The Cardinals defense stopped NFL rushing leader DeMarco Murray's record streak of eight straight 100-yard games, limiting him to 79 yards on 19 carries.

The Mark Sanchez Era Has Started In Philly

Eagles starting quarterback Nick Foles was injured on the last play of the first quarter — after his 10th interception of the season and 13th overall turnover overall. Enter Mark Sanchez…yes, Mr. ButtFumble debuted for Philly. If Foles injury is indeed a broken collarbone as reported, The Sanchize will need to rise to the occasion until his return.

Sanchez threw for 202 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions, and Philadelphia (6-2) drilled Houston, 31-21, in Texas on Sunday. The Texans (4-5) had chances to cut into the lead, but they couldn't slow the Eagles' potent offense. Philly's Jeremy Maclin had 158 yards receiving and two scores, and LeSean McCoy rolled up 117 yards rushing.
