This Week’s ‘Teacher of the Week’ Winner Hails From Independence

Every week we team up with Menard's to honor another awesome teacher in the local area with our ‘Teacher of the Week’ award!

Congratulations to Linda Hosch a teacher at St. John's Catholic School in Independence! She is this week’s ‘Teacher of the Week!’ Linda was nominated by Heather Thompson and this is her entry:

"Teaching preschool can be a challenge and you need LOTS of patience. Linda Hosch succeeds with handling it 100%. She is the most caring person who always offers hugs to her kiddos. She's always bringing in things from her own home to make the classroom a special place. The daily activities the kids do are both fun and educational and she takes the time to send letters home telling parents about their day. Years pass and kids still talk about her, and she's there to give that special hug and smile. She's a great person for those special preschool children and we'd be lost without her. *The picture is her and my daughter on the 1st day of school."
