This Friendly Guy Is Looking For A New Home — KHAK Pet of the Week
Every week we feature an adoptable animal from the Cedar Valley Humane Society. Each pet has their own story but they all have one thing in common -- they are looking for a new home. If you would like more information about one of our pets of the week, you can call the Cedar Valley Humane Society at (319) 362-6288 or visit them online at CVHumane.org.
Jake is KHAK's Pet of the Week. Jake was brought to the Cedar Valley Humane Society because of his owner's changing circumstances. He's a Alaskan Husky/Shepherd mix and just over 5 years of age. This friendly guy would do well with a fenced-in backyard and a couple of kids to help him burn off excess energy. (Tired kids + tired dog = happy quiet time!) He also really enjoys going for walks and runs, so if you're a runner, you may want to seriously consider him! Jake understands sit and lay down, but we think he could learn a whole lot more! (Maybe even agility or flyball training...?) He's a curious, active, playful fella. What's not to love? Come meet him!
