98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Honors Caleb Morgan

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today we honor Caleb Morgan, who was nominated by TWO people! The first entry is from Jamie Wilson and it reads:

"Caleb has served on the Volunteer Keota Fire Department for 14 years, taking after his father Mick. He has been around the first responder environment for nearly 34 years. Many days and nights, he has sacrificed time with his family, including his 3 daughters, to serve the Keota and surrounding communities. He works full time, as well as a couple of part time jobs, and also attends fire school annually. Caleb deserves to be recognized for his complete dedication to his community and family!"

The other entry comes from Jocelynn Morgan:

"My dad is a volunteer firefighter for the Keota Fire Department. I nominated him because he works really hard for our family and helps so many people. My dad is someone who deserves to be recognized because he loves what he does, attends meetings and trainings, and I love that he helps others. He inspires me to be the best I can be and is the best dad! He sacrifices a lot of time to be a firefighter but I am so proud of him! Love you, dad!"
