Thanksgiving is one of our most cherished holidays. In the coming days, families and friends will gather together for food, football, and did I mention food?

But the idea of planning a get-together for the whole gang can be expensive, time-consuming and might also induce some major stress.

So we have helped make it easier by compiling a group of restaurants offering Thanksgiving meals in Eastern Iowa. Here's hoping the holiday finds you safe and happy in the company of your loved ones. Happy Thanksgiving!

 

  • The Class Act at Kirkwood

    7725 Kirkwood Blvd SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404

    Class Act is located inside the Hotel at Kirkwood. They are open from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m., with a brunch menu from 6 a.m. - 2 p.m., and full menu from 2 p.m. - 10 p.m. The Thanksgiving special option is available from 10 a.m. -10 p.m. for $30. Reservations are not required but are recommended as they are filling up quickly. Call (319) 848-8777.

  • Ox Yoke Inn

    4420 220th Trail, Amana, IA 52203

    Located in the heart of the Amana Colonies, Ox Yoke will be offering their full Thanksgiving menu from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., for groups of 8 or less.  It's $22.99 for adults, and $13.99 for children 10 and under.  Reservations are required. Later in the day, they'll have an alternative of a turkey and ham banquet from 4:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. in the Lower Level Meeting Hall, which is not handicapped accessible. That is $24.99 for adults, $15.99 for children ages 5-10, and free for kids 1-4. Again, reservations are required. Call (319) 622-3441 to make yours today.

     

  • Granite City

    4755 1st Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403

    Granite City in Cedar Rapids is offering a Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.  It's $24.99 for adults, $8.99 for kids 6-11, and kids under 6 are free.  Call to make your reservations at (319) 395-7500

     

  • The Longbranch

    90 Twixt Town Rd, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402

    The Longbranch Hotel has both a buffet and dinner option for your Thanksgiving. The brunch runs from 10 a.m. - 2:30 pm. for $19.99 for adults, $9.99 for children under 12, and children under 4 are free. Seniors are $18.99.

    The Turkey Dinner Buffet runs from 4 p.m - 7:30 p.m. and is $20.99 for adults, $19.99 or seniors, and $9.99 for kids.

    Beverage, tax, and gratuity are not included in the cost.

  • Riverside Casino & Golf Resort

    Catch Thanksgiving dinner at Riverside Casino inside Robert's Buffet from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.  It'll be served buffet style from 11a-9p, for $20.99 per person.  Call (319) 648-1234 or (877) 677-3456 for more information.  Reservations are not required.

  • Iowa River Power Company

    501 1st Ave, Coralville, IA 52241

    In Coralville, Iowa River Power Company will be offering their annual Thanksgiving Buffet from 11 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., with seating. Adults cost $19.95, Kids ages 5-10 cost $9.95, Kids 4 and under are free.  Reservations are required. Unfortunately, web reservations are now closed for Thanksgiving, but they are still taking them by phone at (319) 351-1904.
