NASCAR has released their 2017 schedule for Sprint Cup, Xfinity Series, and the Camping World Truck Series and it's been met with disappointment in Iowa.
Tony Stewart has been medically cleared by Doctors and will be racing today at the Richmond International Raceway. Before he even hit the track, Tony was fined $35,000 by NASCAR for "actions detrimental to the sport."

Cedar Rapids native Joey Gase will be racing the #32 Go Fas Ford at Phoenix this weekend.
Gase says "It was a last minute deal, I just found out late last week that I was going to be behind the wheel."
The race is this Sunday on Fox starting at 2pm
