Winning.  It's not easy.  Believe me, I wasn't talented or fortunate enough to do much of it in my limited sporting career, unless you count slow-pitch softball.  However, at Iowa City Regina, that's all their football team has been doing for years...literally.  Friday morning, the Regals take to the artificial turf at the UNI-Dome and attempt to win not only a 4th straight state championship, but an all-time state record 56th consecutive game.  Pressure?  You'd think so.  Though they'll never admit to it, I expect the coaches and players are feeling some before THIS game that could set a mark never equaled in the state of Iowa.  For the rest of us we should take a minute to realize, no matter what happens Friday in Cedar Falls, we've witnessed something that we're not likely to ever see again...a high school football program that hasn't lost a game in the first four years of a decade.  Congrats on another great season and best of luck to not only Iowa City Regina, but also Xavier of Cedar Rapids and the other area teams vying for the championship trophies.
