One Last Chance For Iowa Men’s Basketball Team To Be A 4 Seed In The B1G Ten Tournament

The Iowa Men's Basketball team did what it had to do on Senior Day at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. They easily handled Northwestern 69-52. Led by Senior Aaron White, Iowa has it's first 6 game winning streak in the B1G Ten since 1987.

Iowa is currently tied for 3rd in the conference, but because of the tie-breaker, Iowa might be seeded 5th going into the B1G Ten Tournament. Iowa needed Indiana or Illinois to win on Saturday. It almost happened in Bloomington, Indiana, but Michigan St. squeaked out the win. Illinois looked tough in the 1st half at Purdue, but lost momentum after halftime and Purdue went on to win.

There's still one outside chance for Iowa to be a 4 seed. Iowa needs Ohio St. to win today. Easy enough right? Not so fast my friends... Ohio State plays at home today against conference champion and #6 Wisconsin. Wisconsin is looking for a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament and won't go away without a fight. Wisconsin is favored by 2 points. The Game is at 3:30 today on CBS. Here's hoping for a Buckeyes win!!!!
