New Cardinal Pitcher Gives Amazing Gift To Keep Jersey Number
Athletes can be superstitious people. If a routine works, they stick with it. And if you have success while wearing a certain number, you keep it at all costs! Earlier this season, Boston Red Sox pticher John Lackey was trade to the St. Louis Cardinals. His number in Boston? 41. But in St. Louis, that number already belonged to All Star reliever Pat Neshek. So Lackey made Neshek an offer he couldn’t refuse. A baseball signed by none other than Babe Ruth. Looks like it worked!
Huge Thanks to John Lackey for the incredible gift for changing my uni # pic.twitter.com/SFnuTh2d7x
