Have you noticed that gas prices are falling and may go to under $2 a gallon this Fall. Most of the Summer, gas has been around the $2.59 a gallon price. Prices had started to fall in early August but then jumped back to $2.59-$2.69 a gallon. Problems with a Midwest refinery in Indiana was a culprit.

The breakdown at one of the largest of three crude distillation units at the refinery on Aug. 8 caused gas prices to spike at a record pace. Some places in the Midwest by as much as $1 a gallon.

A relief at the pump, now lets hope for a relief from old man winter this year!
