Is Iowa a “Nerd” State?

The word Nerd, used to be an insult.  It was hurled my way a time or two as I grew up.  But today, Nerds rule!  They're the leaders of companies, creators of apps and websites.  Heck, the richest person in the world, Bill Gates, is a nerd!

A website recently ranked each state in various categories to determine the Nerdiest State in the U.S.  The winner?  Utah!  Where did Iowa rank?  You can click HERE for all the rankings.  We can tell you that Iowa ranked 2nd in Live Action Role Playing!  I had no idea there were so many LARP'ers living here!
