Iowa Baseball Makes NCAA Tournament
If you can remember back to 1990, then you might remember the last time the Iowa baseball team made the NCAA Tournament. It's been 25 years without a tourney appearance. Consider that terrible streak over:
Iowa earned a #2 seed and will play in a regional game against #3 Oregon this Friday in Springfield, MO.
Iowa enters the tourney at 39-16. The game is scheduled for noon on Friday. You can stream it on ESPN3.
Here's to hoping the Hawks can end another long streak on Friday: 43 years since Iowa has won a game in the NCAA Tournament.
