IMCA Hawkeye Dirt Tour Opener At Vinton Rescheduled For Tonight
The IMCA Hawkeye Dirt Tour opens for the fourth time in five years at Benton County Speedway in Vinton tonight. Hot laps start at 6:30 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m.
The traveling IMCA Xtreme Motorsports Modifieds are racing for $1,000 to win and a minimum of $150 to start. Drivers from Iowa and surronding States are expected to be on hand for this race.
IMCA Sunoco Stock Car and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod features both pay $400 to win while IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks race for a $200 top check. Also on the card are non-sanctioned micro mods.
Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $5 for kids and free for five and under. Pit passes are $25. The event will be broadcast via IMCA.TV.
