Enough With The Rain…PLEASE!!!

Eastern Iowa has been hit with rain over the past month. Some of our listeners have had just a few inches of rain over the past 2 weeks. At my house in Center Point we've had over 13" of rain in the last 2 weeks. YES... 13" OF RAIN IN 2 WEEKS!!! It all started almost 2 weeks ago on Thursday June 11th. Cedar Rapids was having flash flooding on Center Point Rd. and we received 6" at our house that night. Then last Saturday morning and afternoon (June 20th) we got soaked again with over 5". Three different storms rolled through Center Point last Saturday. Then add in the 3 storms on Monday and another 2.5" of rain... we've had enough. Here's hoping the rains completely miss us!
