Ever wonder what it would be like to be a firefighter?  Kids often dream of being one.  We see them on the news putting out fires, saving lives.  But now you have the chance to learn a bit more about what it really takes to do the job.

For the second year in a row, the Marion Fire Department is hosting it's Citizen's Fire Academy.  It's an 8 week course held one night a week that gives citizens the chance to learn what it takes to be a firefighter.  No, you don't BECOME a firefighter once you complete the course, but hopefully you will gain a greater appreciation for what they do.

I'm taking part in this year's class, and there is still room for you to join!  But space is limited, so pick up an application today!
