Bobby & Brain’s High School Teams Could Meet For State Title

The Iowa Boys High School Basketball State Championships began today with play in Class 1A. Tonight, Class 2A takes to the court and my old high school, Dike-New Hartford is the #1 seed as they take on Pella Christian at 8:15. Dike-New Hartford was last at the state tournament in 2013 and their only State Championship in Boys Basketball was back in 1980, my sophomore year.

Now looking at the complete bracket, if both Dike-New Hartford & Ryan Brainard's Anamosa team continue to win, they will play each other for the 2A state title. Brain & I might have to make a friendly little wager.
