A Lengthy Wait On New Tires For My Truck Gave Me Time To Get Nostalgic

A Saturday morning in November is not a good time to get tires installed. How do I know? It took about 2 1/2 hours. Sitting around all that time, I got to thinking about the original set of tires and all we've accomplished together during their 83,000+ miles of life.

Those tires have taken Julie and I to many places, including Devil's Tower, The Black Hills, St. Louis several times, and much more fun. The truck and those tires have come in handy many times to help haul stuff to the landfill or to bring stuff home. They also bring a lot of work though... we've carried lumber, landscape blocks and timbers, and on and on. Yep, it's time to think about a car. I just wish I would've thought about it before buying those brand new truck tires...
