If you've ever ventured into a Walmart you can find almost anything you want or need.  But, wait, can you find everything you want or need?  Yes and no, there are some things that Walmart will not sell.  They sell so many things, what won't they sell?  Here is a list of the items you will not find on the shelves of any Iowa Walmart.

What is Something Walmart Will Never Sell Again?

E-cigarettes are no longer sold at Walmart stores in Iowa.  Vaping was all the rage and was supposed to help people cut back on smoking.  Well, they did but they just took up vaping instead.  According to NPR, because of health concerns and regulatory complexity in 2019, all Walmart and Sam's Club locations stopped selling e-cigarettes and cartridges.  They also stopped selling fruit and dessert-flavored vaping liquids.

When I saw this, it was listed in the press release as Guns and Ammo.  I thought, the magazine? Then I realized, no, dummy the actual stuff.  The same year Walmart stopped selling vaping materials, 2019, is the same year they no longer carried handguns and some ammunition.  They didn't get out of the business, they just altered what they were selling.

Why is Zantac No Longer Available?

More items you can't get but it's probably a good thing if you like your health.  Zantac is no longer sold at any Walmart.  Zantac, a histamine blocker, was pulled from the shelf after regulators found dangerous contaminants in the medication.  The cancer-causing NDMA was found in high levels and the FDA requested it be removed from stores.

Gremlins Leave You With a Sinking Feeling

All Walmart locations discontinued selling Water Gremlin products after it was found children of workers at the plant were found to have levels of lead in their blood.  The company, that makes lead fishing sinkers, under a court-ordered plan instituted tougher measures to keep lead dust from being ingested by workers at the plant.

Is Santa Up To No Good?

The other thing Walmart has a problem with is inappropriate clothing, many times for children but not always.  The one item that drew the ire of adult customers was the Santa sweater with Santa snorting a certain drug.  I'll leave it to your imagination but if your imagination isn't great, click the link and you'll see what Santa is up to.  Walmart no longer sells it but that doesn't mean it's not still available.

We're headed for Halloween and the appropriate costumes are just for the ghouls and goblins, they're also for toddlers. Wait, what? Toddlers?  Yes, the Naughty Leopard costume is no longer available at Walmart.  $19.97 would get you a sleeved, knee-length dress with lace and sparkles along with a cat ears headpiece.  What makes it naughty and why for a toddler costume? Young Leopard, Fun Leopard, many ways to describe a leopard but naughty is not usually a word that comes to mind.
