If you're a fan of White Claw, Truly, or any other hard seltzer brand, Hazzard County is the place to be next weekend!

On Saturday, May 22nd from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Hazzard County in downtown Cedar Rapids will be hosting an event called the Cedar Rapids Seltzer Summit. According to the Facebook event page, there will be over 100 seltzers to sample and purchase, plus free swag, live music, and fun activities! The page says:

"Bring the whole family. We will have all of our games available to play, music from Thomas Grubb, and the main bar will be open, in case seltzers just aren't your thing."

Anyone under the age of 21 will be able to stay until 8 p.m. Doors will open at 2 p.m. and the last sample will be served at 7 p.m. There is no cover, and proceeds will benefit Adopt a Pal Animal Rescue here in Cedar Rapids.

Hazzard will also be the official host of the Uptown Friday Nights Kick-Off After-Hours Party on Friday, May 28th beginning at 10 p.m.! The first Uptown of the year will go from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the McGrath Amphitheatre and will feature local band The Mix Tape.

This year's Uptown Friday Nights have a few changes and additions. Admission is still $5 and it's still limited to ages 21 and up, but there will now be multiple food vendors, drink specials/featured drinks, the Play It Again Sports game area, a selfie station, and face painting. They will also not be selling tokens this year, but you can use any you have from previous years. Cash is highly encouraged! You can get more information and a full schedule of shows HERE.
