You Can Get Paid $1000 to Watch Basketball

Since you'll be frantically filling out your brackets come Selection Sunday this weekend and prepping for the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, why not get paid for it?

The website Thrillist has put out the word that another website, CableTV.com is offering fans money to check out some hoops! Here's hoping the Hawkeyes have a good tournament run, but it doesn't matter what teams or games you watch.

If you're willing to watch 40 hours of basketball for $25 an hour and log it on social media, apply here by Wednesday night, March 11 at 6 p.m. Simple as that!

All you'll be asked for is some info about your social media usage, a short blurb on why you're the person for the job and an optional (but "highly recommended") video about why you're the person to get paid for being a couch potato for the next 2-3 weeks.
