Just when you thought all of the retailers were moving out of malls, Lindale Mall in Cedar Rapids announced a women's apparel retailer is moving in.

We told you about the new restaurant chain coming to Lindale Mall, and now they've announced they have signed another lease with the Davenport-based women's apparel retailer Dry Goods. The print edition of the Corridor Business Journal reports that the new tenants will arrive in March, according to Marketing Manager Lia Pontarelli. The former Lane Bryant store is being renovated to house the new Dry Goods and give it more of that boutique feel.

You may already be familiar with Dry Goods as they have a location in Coral Ridge Mall in Coralville. If not, they offer"an ever-changing selection of today's newest fashions," according to their website, including dresses, tops, bottoms, outerwear, shoes and accessories.

What started as the first Von Maur Dry Goods store in downtown Davenport back in 1872, has now transformed into a women's apparel retailer giving the same old-fashioned customer service to a new generation of customers. It's nice to see a new retailer in town. We can't wait to start shopping!
