How many of you posted your videos on your Facebook page or other forms of social media. Me too. But now it appears that all that fund raising is actually making a difference. A cure for ALS is getting closer and it's all thanks to money raised during The Ice Bucket Challenge. Here are two of the researchers explaining the breakthrough.

Now this doesn't mean a cure is coming soon. But it is exciting news in the battle against this deadly disease. And it might mean that someday a diagnosis of ALS won't be a death sentence. It just goes to show the importance of money and research in the battle against deadly diseases.
