Welcome to December!!!

Hopefully you had a Great Thanksgiving Weekend. A time to spend with family & friends. Shopping, Shopping and more shopping??? Not this guy!!! I will say I did drive by the shopping outlets around Cedar Rapids around 10 AM getting everything ready for our Hawkeye Party and the beat-down of Nebraska on Friday. One thing I did notice was the stores were busy but not as jammed packed as in years past. Reports are that Thanksgiving Shopping was up almost 27% (imagine that… this was the first real year of shopping on Thanksgiving) and Black Friday was down 13% compared to last year. Overall, they’re predicting that shopping on Thanksgiving weekend was flat or just up slightly compared to 2012.
