The corridor gets a brand new restaurant later this week, and we're letting you take a look inside AND at their full menu.

I paid the new Moe's a visit Monday morning and what I found was a bright restaurant, some very unique features, and a staff that's rarin' to go. One of the restaurant's four franchise owners, Mike Middendorp, told me the new restaurant will employ about 25 people. Each time you walk in, expect to hear something from the staff. Exactly what that is is in this video, along with their menu board and something VERY unique to Moe's that your kids will absolutely love:

Moe's uses 20 fresh ingredients and has no freezers or microwaves in the restaurant. None. Fresh and Moe's definitely go together. They feature everything from burritos to bowls, stacks, salads, tacos, quesadillas, and nachos. Every order also comes with free chips and salsa and if you look real closely at the menu board, you'll see steam rising from some of the entrees.

The three letters in the name of the restaurant have very special meaning. M stands for Musicians. O signifies Outlaws. The E is for Entertainers. Each time an entertainer passes away, don't be surprised to hear their music featured at Moe's. Today, if the Cedar Rapids restaurant were open, you might hear Chuck Berry. He passed away over the weekend.

The first Moe's Southwest Grill location in the corridor is in the new Northtowne Market on Blairs Ferry Road, across from Super Target, in Cedar Rapids. It's only the second Moe's in Iowa (A Davenport location opened about a year-and-a-half ago). It will open to the public for the first time Wednesday, March 22 for a pre-opening fundraiser. That day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., 100 percent of net sales will go to the Cedar Rapids Community Schools Foundation. The suggested donation is five dollars for an entree, side, and drink. Moe's typically holds several of these community-minded events each year.

Thursday, March 23 is Moe's grand opening. You can spin the prize wheel that day and burritos are just five bucks.

Next Friday, March 31, the first 100 customers get a free burrito each week for a year. If you want in on that, you'll need to get there early. Really early, I'm guessing.

Moe's Southwest Grill is sure to be a popular spot and don't be intimidated if you've never been to a Moe's before. They even have a "beginner's guide" to the menu. They've truly thought of everything.
