New Ulta Store in Cedar Rapids to Host Grand Opening This Weekend

A new Ulta Beauty store has opened in the Westdale Town Center, and they're hosting their official grand opening celebration this weekend!

About Ulta Westdale

The new Ulta store in Cedar Rapids is located at 3915 Westdale Parkway SW in the Westdale Town Center, right between Michaels and JC Penney. According to a 2025 article from the Corridor Business Journal, the store is "in a new standalone building that will also house other retailers." In addition to in-store shopping, curbside pickup, and same day delivery, the location also offers hair services, a Benefit BrowBar, and The Wellness Shop. It does NOT have makeup services, skin services, or ear piercing.

Ulta Westdale's business hours are Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Grand Opening

Although the new Ulta location is already open, the official grand opening celebration is set for this weekend. That means that shoppers will be able to take advantage of a discount!

According to Ulta's website, during the grand opening weekend, customers can get 20% off any qualifying purchase in-store (no coupon required). The discount is only valid during the grand opening celebration, which is listed as Friday, February 20th through Sunday, February 22nd. Here are the additional details on the discount from the Ulta website:

"Excludes the Salon and Benefits Brow Bar services, Dyson and Chanel. Not valid for gift cards or prior purchases. Cannot be combined with any offers. Some additional exclusion may apply."
