A New Burger Joint Has Officially Opened in Benton County

Back in February, we got word that a new restaurant would be opening this spring in Belle Plaine. We're happy to report that the new restaurant is now OPEN!

Udders Burgers & More

Located at 805 12th Street in Belle Plaine, Udders Burgers & More has taken over the space that was most recently the home of Valhalla Hatchets. The restaurant's official website reads:

"We're excited to invite you to visit our brand-new restaurant, where a unique atmosphere meets a nostalgic vibe. Get ready to indulge in our mouthwatering, freshly made smash burgers and irresistible milkshakes!"

The Menu

As you probably guessed from the name, Udders Burgers & More offers burgers... and more! The menu features single and double smash burgers, which can be upgraded to "Make it Cheesy" (add cheese) or "Make it Hot" (add jalapenos). If you're not in the mooooooood for burgers (I'm sorry, I had to!), they also offer a fried chicken sandwich and chicken tenders. Any of the burgers or chicken options can be made into a basket, with your choice of side: fries, potato rounds, or onion rings. Oh, and there are cheese curds on the menu, too!

As far as drinks go, Udders Burgers & More has three different types of milkshakes: chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. You can also order a float with your choice of pop, or beer/wine. Check out the full menu online HERE.

When It's Open

Udders Burgers & More held their grand opening on Saturday, May 24th and is now welcoming customers daily (except for Mondays) for both dine-in and carry-out. The hours listed on their Facebook page are:

• Tuesday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• LUNCH HOURS: Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
