A New Burger Joint is Coming to Benton County This Summer

Get ready for smash burgers and milkshakes in Belle Plaine! A new restaurant is in the works!

Earlier this week, I saw folks sharing a new Facebook page for a restaurant called Udders Burgers & More. The intro on the page simply reads:

"Coming Soon! Smash burgers and Milkshakes. Dine in or takeout."

As of right now, there is very little information available about Udders Burgers & More. Comments on the Facebook page have confirmed that the location is at 805 12th Street in Belle Plaine, which was recently the home of Valhalla Hatchets. According to Valhalla Hatchet's Facebook page, their business officially closed its doors on February 22nd. The post read:

"...come say good bye as our chapter ends and someone else's dream comes true. The new owners are eagerly awaiting meeting new and old friends. We are excited to see what they will be bringing to historic downtown next!"

Udders Burgers & More says they are aiming for a May/June grand opening, so it will be a while before they're ready to welcome customers. But, they do note that they will be posting updates throughout the renovation process, which you can follow on Facebook HERE or Instagram HERE. We reached out to the new restaurant for any additional information, but have not heard back. We will be sure to update this article when more details are announced!
