U.S. Top Breweries by State – Iowa’s Top Five Breweries
America has seen and tasted the growing presence of craft breweries. With this in mind, the House Method team did an analysis to find the most popular brewery in every state and the 150 most popular brews in the United States.
House Method pulled data on over 2,200 breweries and looked at four factors to determine the most popular: Facebook followers, Instagram followers, Yelp score, and number of Yelp reviews.
Coming in at the top spot is New Belgium Brewing Co. Founded in 1991 in Colorado, the craft brewing company is now not only nationally distributed, but also one of the largest craft breweries in the country. Two of their signature beers are Fat Tire and the Voodoo Ranger IPA.
Iowa's beer connoisseurs like to brag (and rightfully so) that Iowa has some top-shelf brewers. Now here's the proof, the Top Five of Iowa:
1. Toppling Goliath Brewing Co.
2. Exile Brewing
3. Front Street Brewery
