Two People Confirmed Dead in Springville Area

Two people have been found dead by authorities near Springville.

CBS2 reports that Linn County Sheriff's deputies were called to a mobile home park near Springville on Wednesday to conduct a welfare check. They were called to 2600 Carlton Lane #6 to look in on someone who didn't report or call in to work.

Sheriff's officials located the bodies of a man and a woman at the address. CBS2 reports that after an initial investigation, Linn County Sheriff's officials don't believe there is any danger to the public.

Authorities have not released how the two people died. Their bodies have been sent to the Iowa State Medical Examiner's office to determine the cause of death.
