Traffic Route For Jason Aldean’s UNI-Dome Show

Saturday, the UN Dome in Cedar Falls will be rocking with Jason Aldean, Tyler Farr, & Cole Swindell. If you've ever been to a concert at the Dome, you can expect lots of traffic south of the Dome from Hwy 20 up Hudson Rd all the way to the Dome. It can be frustrating waiting & waiting and not moving very much or fast.

I grew up around the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area. Trust me... this will be the route you'll want to take. Directions below to get you through Waterloo and the "QUICKEST" route to the Dome by missing the traffic jam which always occurs South of the Dome.

As you approach Waterloo coming on I-380/Highway 20 you will want to merge onto Hwy 218. This route will take you through Waterloo on six-lane Hwy 218. You will go through Waterloo and follow this road past the Cattle Congress grounds, past the Waterloo Airport and continue on this road as it becomes Hwy 57 or IA-57 W as it may be called. Drive down this road and through Cedar Falls and then take a left onto Hudson Rd. You will now be about 1.5 miles North of the Dome and now will have avoided the major traffic jam which always occurs to the South of the Dome.

I would suggest taking this route also for your trip home.
