A Vintage Festival Will Return to Iowa This November

Get ready to relive your youth! Totally Rad Vintage Fest will return to Des Moines next month!

Totally Rad Vintage Fest is a traveling festival that features vendors offering "clothing and accessories from the 80s, 90s, and Y2K eras." In addition to that, you can also find vintage toys, video games, records, and so much more!

Some other fun parts of Totally Rad Vintage Fest are the Free-Play Vintage Arcade and the Rad Relic Museum, where a bunch of items from my youth were on display. It definitely made me feel a little vintage, myself! I also enjoyed all the nostalgic photo ops, like this 90s bedroom that's littered with celebrity posters, just like mine was!

When I went to the last Totally Rad Vintage Fest in Des Moines in November of 2023,  I was able to find a couple of fun pieces for my wardrobe. My best advice is to give yourself plenty of time, because rummaging through tons of racks and boxes of clothes can be a bit overwhelming at times! Also, be sure to check out the prices before you head up to the registers. There were some items that were a bit pricier than I was expecting!

Totally Rad Vintage Fest will return to the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines on Saturday, November 2nd from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There are also early bird tickets that will get you in the door at 8:30 a.m. The early bird tickets are $25, while general admissions tickets are $8 in advance or $12 at the door.
