Tiger is Hoping for a Loving Home This Holiday Season
*Furry Friday is sponsored by Theisen's Home, Farm, Auto.
If you're looking for a fun new addition to your family, Tiger might just be the perfect fit!
Tiger is the featured pup for our 'Furry Friday' segment this week with Last Hope Animal Rescue in Cedar Rapids. This spunky guy is believed to be a Belgian Shepherd Malinois and Mountain Cur mix and is around two-years-old. He would do best in a home without children or cats, but he does get along with other dogs and LOVES people. His profile on Last Hope's website reads:
"I am good when left alone, but prefer to be near my person as much as possible. I will play with some squeaky toys, but I prefer attention and cuddling, one could call me a lap dog. Don't get me wrong though, for, as much as I love to cuddle I still do have a lot of energy that I need to get out of me so I have higher than average exercise needs!"
Tiger is incredibly smart, knows basic commands, and is pretty well housebroken, but he does need a more experienced dog owner with some breed experience to help him work on his manners. He is also a talented escape artist, so he will need a six-foot fence to keep him safe!
If you think Tiger could be the dog for you, you can fill out an adoption application online HERE. You can read his full profile HERE.
Last Hope is also hosting a holiday donation drive-thru tonight and tomorrow from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at their location at at 1823 16th Ave SW in Cedar Rapids! Get more details on the event and check out the list of items they need HERE.
