The Pedaler’s Fork is Opening Soon in Cedar Rapids
A new restaurant is planning to open soon here in Cedar Rapids!
Back in the spring of 2019, Broken Spoke and the Riley's Cafe location on Sylvia Ave NE closed because of a fire. The restaurants remained closed until October of 2019, when KCRG announced that they had been purchased by Ryan Evans, the owner of The Blind Pig and Cocktails & Co. He revealed that he had knocked down the wall separating the two eateries and planned to open a new restaurant called The Pedaler's Fork.
A little over a year later, we finally have some new details about the restaurant! A giant sign outside The Pedaler's Fork indicates that they are currently hiring and will be opening "soon." Unfortunately, we don't know exactly when that is. A post on the official Facebook page reads:
"At this time we do not have a set open date, but once we do we will be sure to announce it. At this time, our chef is creating recipes and making menu items as we go."
Speaking of the menu, Pedaler's Fork has been posting some delicious-looking photos on their Facebook page! Check out some of the items that will be featured on their menu:
The Pedaler's Fork Facebook page says that they'll be offering 108 beers on tap and unique cocktails. They also have "two pool tables, two dart boards, and other fun activities."
If you're looking for a job, the restaurant is currently hiring line cooks, dishwashers, prep cooks, bussers, hosts, servers, and bartenders. They are hosting open interviews November 9th through 13th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can get more details on the Facebook page HERE.
