The List of Beers Continues To Grow For Corridor on Tap
One night full of pure enjoyment without the worry of kids is just under 2 weeks away. It's a night to hang out with your buddies and catch up and relax before the true holiday insanity kicks in. Better yet, it's all in celebration of one of your favorite beverages... BEER! Have you grabbed your tickets for Corridor on Tap yet? Thanks to 7G and Fleck sales, they'll be over 100 beers available for you to sample from, as you discover your new favorite, or at least a seasonal favorite. It's a night to find out what's new in malt, barley, and hopps, without the risk of picking up a case of something you might detest. Last week, we released 50 different brews that will be available for the unlimited sampling. This week, we continue with the reveals. Here's 8 more.
Lagunitas (Petaluma, CA) - Brown Shugga
Founders (Grand Rapids, MI) - All Day IPA; Breakfast Stout
New Belgium (Fort Collins, CO) - 1554; Accumulation
Woodchuck (Middlebury, VT) - Gumption
Boulevard (Kansas City, MO) - Tank 7; Snow and Tell
Looking at the list, I question "Breakfast Stout", as in beer for breakfast? Not quite, but it's a beer that certainly should remind you of breakfast. This beer is the combination of 3 popular stout varities: Oatmeal, Chocolate, and Coffee. Oatmeal plus coffee sue sounds like breakfast. And then you add in the chocolate, and you certainly can't go wrong, especially if you love the deep, richness of a stout.
I'm also quite excited about Woodchuck. I've become a cider lover, as many have with the numerous ciders now available on the market. But the original for me was always Woodchuck, as it's where my love for cider began in the summer of 2000. To me, they've always led the pack, and Gumption is one of their latest in a new breed of Craft ciders. Gumption celebrates the spirit of world famous showman P.T. Barnum, with a call to the traditional cider pairing the juice of common eating apples, with the dry cider apples for a unique taste that's not to sweet, yet not too dry.
